The short version

  • We ask for your email only if you want free printables or news. You can leave any time, in one click.
  • We count visits with Google Analytics — but only if you agreed on the cookie bar. Say no and nothing is stored.
  • We never see or store card details. Payments are handled entirely by Payhip or Amazon.
  • We never sell or rent your information. Not to anyone, not ever.
  • Want everything deleted? Email hello@learnwithcoca.com and it's done.

Who we are

Learn with Coca makes hand-drawn coloring and activity books for children. This website is run by the author of those books. For anything on this page, write to hello@learnwithcoca.com — a real person reads it.

What we collect, and why

WhatWhenWhy
Your email addressOnly when you type it into a signup boxTo send the free printables and occasional news about new books
The date you signed up, and the IP address you signed up fromAt the moment you subscribeStored automatically by our email provider as proof you asked to join. It is a legal requirement, not marketing data
Pages visited, roughly where in the world you are, what device you usedOnly after you press Yes, that's fine on the cookie barTo see which pages actually help people, so we make more of those
Order detailsWhen you buy an ebookHandled by Payhip. We see that a sale happened. We never see your card
A child's artwork, first name and ageOnly if a parent sends it to us on purposeTo put it on the From our Friends wall. See Children below

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or date of birth. We never ask for them, so we never have them.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website saves on your device. Ours fall into two groups.

The ones that just work. When you choose Yes or No thanks on the cookie bar, we remember your answer on your own device so we stop asking. If you subscribe, we remember that too, so the gift popup does not keep appearing. These never leave your browser and we cannot read them.

The one that needs your permission. Google Analytics saves a file that lets it tell a returning visitor from a new one. It does not run until you agree. Until then it is switched off, and if you choose No thanks it stays off — the site works exactly the same either way.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the bar will appear again on your next visit.

Other companies involved

Running a small website means using a few outside services. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

These companies are based in the United States and elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside your own country.

Children

Our books are for children. This website is written for the grown-ups who buy them, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child.

Children should not type their email address into this site. If you are under 13 — or under 16 in some countries — please ask a parent to do it instead.

Artwork on the From our Friends wall is only published when a parent or guardian has sent it to us and agreed to it appearing. We show a first name and an age at most — never a surname, a school, a location, or a photograph of a child. If you are a parent and want your child's page taken down, email us and it comes down the same day, no questions asked.

If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it immediately.

How long we keep things

Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Order records are held by Payhip for as long as tax rules require.

What you can ask for

Email hello@learnwithcoca.com. No forms, no hoops. If you are in the UK or EU and think we have handled something badly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes to this page

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.

Questions? hello@learnwithcoca.com — we answer.
